Hyperhidrosis is a common condition where a person sweats excessively, often without normal causes like exercise. It can disrupt the everyday lives of those who suffer.
Hyperhidrosis treatment uses medical-grade Botox to reduce and control sweating, so you can feel confident in staying fresh and dry.
Quick and convenient
What is Hyperhidrosis treatment?
Sweating is largely controlled by the eccrine glands, the major sweat glands of the human body. Millions are distributed across the skin and secrete litres of sweat every day.
Using a fine needle, your Aesthetic Doctor gently injects Botox into the area being treated, typically the underarm. Botox works to block the nerves supplying the eccrine glands, preventing them from producing sweat.
Several initial treatments are recommended for the full benefits to be realised but most people notice results within 2 weeks of their first procedure.
With occasional top-ups after the first few treatments, Hyperhidrosis can be brought under control, so you can stop worrying about abnormal, excessive sweating and face each day feeling fresh and dry.
What can I expect at my Hyperhidrosis consultation?
Your Aesthetic Doctor will discuss your needs and expectations with you, to ensure your suitability for treatment and allow the doctor to understand which form of treatment is right for you.
Your current condition will then be assessed, and an individual treatment plan created.
A convenient date for your treatment can then be scheduled and an Aftercare plan developed with you, so you can feel confident in how to maintain your new situation.
All prices shown are starting prices only. Your treatment options and suitability will be discussed during your consultation and an exact price confirmed.
